How To Install Google Picasa On Ubuntu 11.04 desktop (Natty Narwhal) ?

Picasa is free photo software from Google. Picasa is a popular application for Windows and Linux system. This is a nice and useful photo manager and editor for Linux, and other operating systems .
To Install Google Picasa 3.0 on Ubuntu 11.04 Desktop (Natty Narwhal),follow the Instructions below with screenshots .

1-To download the latest version of Google picasa for Ubuntu 11.04, go to http://picasa.google.com/linux/
Click on install picasa for linux (beta) button .


2-Picasa for Linux page will open ,under You can download the packages directly from the following URLs: select which package is suitable for your system :
deb, for Debian/Ubuntu i386(32-bit), Or deb, for Debian/Ubuntu amd64 (64-bit)


3-Save the file to your hard drive .


4- Open the downloaded file with Ubuntu Software Center , then click install to install google picasa .


5-Enjoy with Google Picasa .

  1. i cant find the linux version. It worked a few months ago, i have it on other notebook ubuntu 10.04, but now it seems that google doesns support linux anymore..
